You Should Not Have Gone To Chelsea – Alves Tells Pedro
Brazil and Barcelona defender, Dani Alves has lamented the move by Pedro Rodriguez to Chelsea, saying he should not have left the Catalan giants.
This is following a lacklustre performance by the English champions, which sees the team at the Stamford Bridge placed 16th after 8 matches.

Pedro dumped the European champions for Chelsea after being offered £21 million late in the transfer window despite interest from other clubs including Manchester United.
The arrival of Luis Suarez last season deemed Pedro’s first-team chances as Bacelona’s attacking trio of Messi, Neymar and Suarez arguably became the most potent strike-force in club football.
Alves said: “I told Pedro he should have stayed at the team but too many people got involved. Had he stayed, he would have been happy here, but we don’t make the decisions. If we did, I would want him to stay for years.”

Chelsea’s hope in the new striker was a big flash in his debut as Pedro scored one and also made an assist in their 3 – 2 win against West Bromwich Albion.

The blues will continue their 2016/2016 EPL campaign on October 17, with a home game against Aston Villa.
