Earlier today, Wednesday, November 4, President Buhari received Burundian envoys, Maj.-Gen. Evariste Ndayishimiye and Ambassador Dieudonne Kwizera, at the state house in Abuja.
Addressing the special envoys of Burundian president, Pierre Nkurunziza, Buhari said that Nigeria will continue to join hands with other nations in Africa to uphold peace and maintain political stability. He said his leadership will allow Nigeria as a country to remain at the forefront of efforts to achieve enduring peace, security and progress in all African nations.

President Buhari also expressed hopes that all stakeholders in the country will resolve their differences peacefully and learn to work together for the development of their country. He welcomed ongoing efforts by President Nkurunziza towards peace and national reconciliation in Burundi. See photos below:
Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari received a delegation from the Venezuelan government led by the special envoy Renaldo Bolivar, Venezuela’s vice minister for Africa, at Aso Rock presidential villa on October 21.
