President Buhari Gives Hint On How He Will Solve Nigeria’s Problems
President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday, November 17, gave a hint about the policy direction of his administration, adding that it will shape the future of Nigeria.
The hint was given by Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo who represented his boss as a visitor at the University of Ibadan Foundation Day ceremony yesterday being the grand finale of its 67th convocation ceremony.

Osinbajo stated that the three-pronged approach are character, creativity and technology, even as he pledged better days for Nigeria and stressed that the character of Nigerians is very important in reforming the country.
The vice president identified series of challenges confronting the nation including infant mortality, extreme poverty, insecurity, climate change, the rabid activities of terrorists, all which he described as monsters which cannot be allowed to fester, National Mirror reports.
“Government of the Federation is committed to responsive governance focusing on the ordinary man who daily looks for job. But how many jobs can be generated?’’ he queried.
Just yesterday, Osinbajo revealed that the federal government will set aside N4 trillion for investment in the transport and energy sectors in Nigeria.

Meanwhile, the federal government has been accused of planning to use funds from the NDDC to influence the forthcoming election in Bayelsa state in favour of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The allegation is from a group called Bayelsa Votes whose coordinator, Thomas Dokubo alleges that the national leadership of the APC feels indebted to the party’s gubernatorial candidate, Chief Timipre Sylva because of his financial commitments to the campaign of President Buhari.
