Floyd Mayweather: Retired boxer among GQ 'Worst People of 2015'

GQ Magazine have included some sports personalities in their list of 'Worst People of 2015'

Retired boxer, Floyd Mayweather is among the list of 'Worst People of 2015' complied by GQ Magazine.

Mayweather who retired undefeated in September 2015 was included in his list because of his domestic violence history.

 

Mayweather has been severally accused, charged and jail for domestic violence and was sued by his ex-girlfriend for battery in May.

"If I’m gonna shell out a hundred bucks to watch an unrepentant woman beater make $200 million for a boxing match, the least he can do is throw a decent punch instead of dance around the ring like an asshole. I want to know that my moral compromise was worth it," the GQ article said about Mayweather.

He was is not the only sports personality to be included in the list.

Former FIFA president Sepp Blatter is number four on the list due to his alleged participation in the corruption and bribery scandal that rocked the world football governing body last year.

 

"The Swiss football administrator who is the suspended eighth president of FIFA that has persistently been dogged by claims of corruption and financial mismanagement," the article about him said.

In N0. 21 are the players of NBA side Cleveland Cavaliers for relying solely on LeBron James last season when they were beaten to the title by Golden State Warriors led by a certain Steph Curry.

 

The article blasted the players for failing to turn up at the finals.

At N0 22, WWE legend Hulk Hogan in in the list following his suspension from the body over his racism offences.
