Do your clothes smell of mildew after washing? This hack will help you!
When we do our laundry using our ever-reliable washing machine, we always expect that the clothes would come out smelling fresh and clean. However, due to the fact that washing machines always get in contact with water, there is no doubt that it will retain moisture after we use it. The result? Molds form inside our washing machines due to the trapped moisture.
Having molds in your trusty appliance is really a pain in the neck. Not only that your clothes will end up smelling like mildew, it can also threaten our family who has allergies. As a matter of fact, because of this problem, lawsuits were launched against well-known brands of washing machines.
In order to avoid the hassle of filing lawsuits, and of course to get rid of these nasty molds, blogger Jenn of Clean and Scentsible came up with a brilliant trick to remove molds from our washing machines.
Just look at how dirty this washing machine looks! Having such a problem sometimes force us to just let the pros handle this mess, however, not everyone has a lot to spend. We know service can be costly.
What you need:
- 16 ounces of white vinegar
- Some bleach
Warning: NEVER, and I mean, NEVER EVER combine these two, because they can be highly toxic and poisonous. You will need to use these products SEPARATELY.
Done! Now you have a squeaky clean washing machine without spending a lot! Easy right?
