#Ekitigate: Fayose, Aluko, others must enter #prisongate – Nigerians tell Buhari
Following stunning revelations made by Dr Temitope Aluko, the secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti state, Nigerians have called for the prosecution of Governor Ayodele Fayose.
Aluko during an interview on Sunday, January 31, 2016, revealed that Nigeria’s former president, Goodluck Jonathan, allegedly gave $37 million to Fayose to rig last year’s election in Ekiti state, a situation which he (Aluko) claimed, was aided by other factors.
Although Fayose’s aide has since denied the reports, Nigerians believe the Ekiti governor must be jailed following the revelations by the PDP man as it is a confirmation of the video of some top military officials discussing how to rig the election, which had gone viral after the election.
Some of the reactions from Twitter are as follows:
#EkitiGate #DiezaniGate #DasukiGate , those involved deserve to enter a #PrisonGate as soon as possible. Pls Baba @MBuhari make it happen

One of the reasons people
hate politics is that truth is
rarely a politician’s objective.
Election and power are. #EkitiGate
