In Abuja: CBN, FIRS and others at odds over stamp duty
Representatives of the agencies will meet at the RMAFC headquarters in Abuja on Wednesday to iron out the conflict of interest
Concerns are growing over the stamp duty among three important government agencies.
The issue concerns the Central Bank of Nigeria, Federal Inland Revenue Service and the Nigerian Postal Service, over the account where money generated from payment of stamp duty estimated to be N2.5tn per annum will be kept.

Reports gathers that the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission is already mediating between the parties involved.
As a result, representatives of these agencies will meet at the RMAFC headquarters in Abuja on Wednesday (today) to sort out the disagreement.
Also expected at the meeting are representatives of the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation.
