Trouble in HKN? Davido, others fail to wish Deekay happy birthday

Deekay is believe to have an estranged relationship with Davido

The controversy over the legality of Ghanaian-born singer Deekay as an HKN artiste is yet to be resolved as all HKN artistes including Davido and officials failed to congratulate the artiste on his birthday, February 9, 2016.

Recall that Davido in a tweet earlier in the year refused to mention Deekay as an HKN artiste adding that he’s not responsible for anyone artiste he didn’t mention in the tweet.

“! @danagog @B_RedHKN @SINARAMBO HKN …. If I didn’t mention ur name ur not signed to me and I’m not liable for ur life.. U KNOW URSELF” Davido wrote.

A check by Naij.com on the various social media accounts of Davido, B-Red, Sina Rambo, Danagog Chairman HKN, Kamal Ajiboye revealed that no one congratulated the repete crooner.

Instead, the various HKN acts were promoting their projects as Davido announced he just made something for American rapper, T.I and his artiste, Sina Rambo.

However the label’s general manager, Kamal Ajiboye maintained that Deekay is still signed onto the label. “He’s still signed to the label but they have their difference,” he said in a telephone conversation.

A twitter fan however questioned the brotherly love in the label.
