Former militant commander, Government Ekpemupolo, popularly addressed as Tompolo has reportedly asked his boys to destroy more pipelines.

This according to Daily Post, is as a result of the continuous search for him by soldiers who have invaded Gbaramutu Kingdom and have ransacked the creeks on the orders of the court.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had leveled charges of corruption in excess of about N30 billion against the former militant commander and a high court in Lagos sought to arrest the Niger Delta warlord, but has recorded little success in its attempts.

According to Daily Post, Tompolo is scared of being humiliated and detained, hence his continuous defiance to court summons after same court last week permitted the anti-graft agency to confiscate his assets.

“Tompolo had boasted to groups of people two months before the renewed Biafra protests of November 2015, why he cannot support Kanu when a big masquerade called Buhari had already begged him to pipe low. At that time Kanu was still posting his hate messages from London, therefore, before that Biafran struggle took off, many ingredients were already compromised, including Tompolo factor,” a Daily Post commentator was quoted to have written.

The report confirmed that the pipelines that were blown in Warri and Port Harcourt were largely attributed to him, although he vehemently denied this.

Tompolo had few days ago, issued fresh warning to Buhari from his hiding place, stating: “You can’t send soldiers to destroy a community, arrest young men and rape women in the name of searching for Tompolo. If they claim that everybody in the Ijaw land is a criminal, does it also mean that everybody in the north is a member of Boko Haram?”

The commander’s boys have since vowed to defy the Nigerian president’s soldiers and blow up oil facilities and set Nigeria ablaze in order to allow the elders work out a settlement.
