Miss Nigeria USA 2015, Olutosin Araromi, is not just a beautiful face, she also has brains to back it along with a wealth of diversity. Here are four things we learned from the Nigerian beauty’s chat with Pulse TV:
Background:
The dark skinned beauty was born in New Jersey. She claimed that she is grateful for the pageant because she used to be “too African to be American and too American to be African.”
Brains:
This young lady has some big brains to back that pretty up, as she is a senior (final year) in university in the US, majoring in public health and human services with a concentration on family services and she’ll be graduating in May. She also looks forward to getting a master’s degree at NYU in public administration.
Big heart:
Aside from her looks and her brain, she also had a heart of gold, as she explains that she loves to help people and seeks to empower women in Nigeria. She also highlighted that she has a breast cancer awareness platform to help support women with the deadly disease.
‘Naija’ girl:
Tosin is a true ‘Naija’ girl, with a true hustle spirit. She used to work a job, being a substitute teacher, while she was at school. Aside from that she also wants to be a social entrepreneur and a model. She also sights Osas Ajibade as her inspiration from past Nigerian beauty queens.
