Rising Dragon XVI: Olaoye Ibukunoluwa Tunde - T.I.O Clothing

Olaoye was born on the 19th of May 1994 and discovered his flair for fashion as kid. He went into fashion in 2011 but started the T.I.O clothing brand officially in 2012.

Olaoye Ibukunoluwa Tunde is the CEO and Founder of T.I.O Clothing and WeddingsByTIO. He is a final year student of the University of Lagos.

The T.I.O clothing brand was founded as a menswear brand with the purpose to inspire confidence, poise and a unique sense of style among men of all ages.

With two collections to its name - the perfect gentleman which debuted in 2014 and the bold and confident man which was released in 2015 - T.I.O Clothing was showcased at the 2015 edition of the Nigerian students fashion design week and was featured on madcmagazine.

Because of his love for weddings,  Olaoye decided to start a wedding line to give brides and grooms their desired wedding glam look.

WeddingsByTIO kicked off 2016 with a collection tagged "FengShui" which was released this February. FengShui is Chinese for Harmony, hence the collection harmonizes different couples to represent different stages of becoming a fully wedded couple. The couples are harmonized or connected by elements of  "love and purity", "blood and loyalty", then "strength and perseverance" which are represented by the colors white, red and black respectively.
