Tray Walker: Ravens cornerback dies from motorcycle crash injuries

The American football player sustained a major head injuries due to the fact he was not wearing helmet at the time of the accident.

The National Football League mourns the death of Baltimore Ravens cornerback Tray Walker who died from the injuries he sustain after a motorcycle accident.

Confirmed by ESPN, the accident occurred at night in Liberty City, Florida when Tray Walker who was riding a motor bike collided with an SUV driven by a 62-year-old woman at an intersection.

The American football player sustained a major head injuries due to the fact he was not wearing helmet at the time of the accident.

Reports also says the athlete was wearing dark clothing and his bike did not have lights at the time of the crash.

Tray Walker was immediately rush to the Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami where he died after fighting for his life in a critical condition.  

Ravens head coach, Ravens owner, and the NFL commissioner shared their sympathy with the family and friends of the late athlete.

"Tray was a young man with a good and kind heart. He was humble and loved everything about being part of the Ravens' team,"  says Ravens head coach John Harbaugh.

"We have two sons not too much older than Tray, and we can't imagine how much his family is suffering," he said. "This is so sad. The right words are hard to find at a time like this." says Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti.

"The loss of this young man is a terrible tragedy, our thoughts are with Tray's family and friends." says NFL commissioner, Roger Goodell.
