China has commenced a brutal crackdown on a Christian minority removing crosses from the buildings.
According to the officials, thousands of the crosses are being removed in Zhejiang province because they violate regulations against ‘illegal structures’.
Meanwhile, rights groups said that the destruction of crucifixes – which began nearly two years ago – controls Christianity and religious freedoms.
Nine people are reportedly have been arrested for trying to prevent the Chinese government from tearing down crosses since the demolition began two years ago.
President Muhammadu Buhari will visit China on April 10 aiming to negotiate a loan of up to $2 billion to help fund record budget spending.
Nigeria has shelved plans to meet investors about returning to commercial borrowing on the Eurobond market.

In February, financial and government sources said the loan could be as high as $2 billion, but officials have not provided an update since then.
