The 39-year-old underwent an emergency surgery and his reps tell TMZ they cannot confirm their client's condition at this time.
Manganiello, who was set to film the History Channel's 'Navy SEAL Team Six' drama, had to drop out of the project due to physical and health issues.
Us Weekly reports that 'Team Six' is currently searching for a replacement since they were already in production.

The eight-episode scripted military drama follows a Navy SEAL Team Six mission to eliminate a Taliban leader. The star was set to play the squad’s leader, Rip Taggart… who is a former leader of SEAL Team Six who protects an African village from Islamic terrorist group Boko Haram.
Manganiello rose to fame thanks to the success of 'True Blood' and his role in the 'Magic Mike' films. He tied the knot with Modern Family star Sofia Vergara in Florida in 2015.
