Nigerian pop star Wizkid is having a lot of fun as we speak. We can call him one of the most successful artistes in Africa at the moment and it won’t be out of place.

His collaboration with American hip hop star on One Dance which dropped on April 5 is the 12th track on the new album Views, the fourth studio album from Drake, which was released by Cash Money Records, Young Money Entertainment and OVO Sound on Thursday, April 28, 2016.

The album is starting to garner rave reviews so far.

The Canadian American star has plans for a Summer Sixteen tour with fellow American star Future starting from July 20 to September 17, 2016 and it has been speculated by insiders that Wizkid might be called to appear as a guest performer on one or more of these tour venues.

While we await more feedback from there, the Ojuelegba star has been spotted in Sierra Leone for his world tour and he stopped by to hang with President Ernest Bai Koroma of Sierra Leone.

He shared photos from the visit to the president on his Instagram account on Thursday, April 29.

In a recent interview in LA, prolific Nigerian music producer Sarz spoke with Raro Lae revealing that the Nigerian pop star will likely drop singles with Jidenna and Chris Brown in the summer of 2016.

This makes it already a thrilling year for the 25-year-old controversial musician who is yet to even drop his highly anticipated album which was reportedly pushed from 2015.

Wizkid, formerly with EME records under Banky W, has managed to fly high in spite of being ruffled by a number of controversial issues such as baby mama dramas and allegations of song theft, among other things.

The 25-year-old multi award-winning pop star and brand ambassador currently runs StarBoy Entertainment and has previously released two studio albums – Superstar and AYO.
