The management of Kano Pillars football club has vowed to install CCTV cameras at the Sani Abacha Stadium, following post match violence that erupted after their home loss to Enyimba on Wednesday, May 4.
The four-time Nigerian champions however promised to make the Sani Abacha stadium a safe haven for players and fans alike.

Kano Pillars
This was disclosed through their twitter handle @pillarsfc, adding that the violence was regrettable.
“We sincerely apologize and regret the post-match violence that occurred during our last match.
“Anyone caught in the violence will be permanently banned from watching any of our games at the stadium.
“CCTV cameras will soon be installed at different places of Sani Abacha Stadium to help prevent post-match violence,” the club tweeted.
It would be recalled that following their 1 – 2 home-loss to Enyimba football club at their Sani Abacha stadium in Kano, supporters of Kano Pillars allegedly descended heavily on the bus driver of the league champions.

The driver, whose name was not given as at the time of filing this report, was beaten blue-black, with his face soaked in blood.
Enyimba came from behind to defeat Kano Pillars at the Sani Abacha stadium in a rescheduled NPFL fixture.
