Ozekhome is truly angry, find out how he describes Buhari, APC
– Top legal practitioner believes President Buhari has reneged on his promises to the people
– Says ordinary Nigerian is finding it difficult to feed
– Calls the president, APC really terrible names
A senior lawyer in Nigeria, Mike Ozekhome, has joined other citizens currently expressing disillusionment at the Muhammadu Buhari administration following the state of the economy.
Ozekhome who is particularly troubled by the removal of subsidy on premium motor spirit, also called petrol, told Vanguard in Abuja on Friday, that the government action was not only foolish, but also showed that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has become clueless.
The removal of the subsidy has scaled up the price of petrol from N86.50 to N145 per litre.
Ozekhome said the deregulation is insensate, foolish, unsympathetic and anti-people.
He said apart from being clueless, the APC has reneged in all of its pre-election promises to the people.

The lawyer wondered if Nigerians had sinned for voting APC into power. It also reminded the APC of how the party rejected the removal of subsidy on the price of petrol when former president Goodluck Jonathan removed it in 2012.
Ozekhome said: “The recent increase in the price of fuel from N86 to N145 is the most incensate, foolish, unsympathetic and anti-people decision the PMB government has yet taken in its flip-flop one year of clueless and directionless government.
“At a time Nigerians are already groaning under a grotesque over 500 percent increase in prices of ordinary consumables with the miserly non-living wage of N18,000 unaltered, it is inconceivable that government would add to the pains, anguish, pangs and sufferings of the ordinary Nigerians whose only crime is that they ‘voted’ for ‘change’.
“This government has indecently reversed all its promises to the Nigerian people, treating them as inconsequential nonentities in its governance index.
“It is not about whether there are advantages in the concrete. It is simply about honour, dignity and integrity in fulfilling election promises which constitute a pact. Pactum sunt servada (agreements must be respected) with the Nigerian people.”
He also described the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) as an advanced fee fraud practitioner for deceiving the country’s citizens till it removed subsidy from premium motor spirit, also known as petrol.
Fayose, like many other Nigerians has remained angry since the Wednesday announcement by Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu, the country’s minister of state for petroleum.
The governor, seen as a major critic of the president, released a second statement stating that Buhari and his APC had defrauded Nigerians by increasing the price of petrol from N86.50 to N145 per litre.
