Mzznaki Tetteh, who works as a nurse in Ghana, was subjected to flurry of criticism from Instagram users after she shared her engagement photographs earlier this month.

One of the photos showed a plus size bride-to-be in her lover’s hands that triggered the majority of reactions from spitpoisons.

There are just some of them: “How is that beautiful?”, “He just caught himself a 400 pounder right there”, “You fat” and others.

The bride-to-be made headlines when she received cruel comments for this photo she posted on Instagram

The imperturbable woman responded: “Still confident…your rubbish comments ain’t ruining my happiness…thanks to all for the compliments and best wishes…am honoured.”

And what is even more important she had the last laugh by marrying her handsome boyfriend Kojo Amoah, a construction worker, surrounded by family and friends at the weekend.

The day before the ceremony, she celebrated by stepping out in a white dress to get into the wedding spirit

Her husband proudly shared a photo of the newlyweds on Facebook, looking the picture of happiness, which has been liked by more than 4,000 people so far.

And thankfully this time the couple have received nothing but warm wishes from people as they celebrate the beginning of married life.

Mzznaki celebrated ahead of her big day at a surprise bridal shower

Before walking down the aisle Mzznaki paid an emotional tribute to her husband-to-be in this touching message:

“I just can’t imagine what I will do if I didn’t have you to hold my hands and look into my eyes to tell me as yours forever. Just wanna let u know that the flames of passion between us will never be extinguished.

You are the reason why I smile and why our love thrives between miles. I can BOLDLY say am the luckiest woman to have a HUSBAND like you and I want the whole world to know that you will forever be the man for me. Am glad I got the dibs for you.
