Awkward! Barack Obama’s brother supports Donald Trump as president

– President Barack Obama’s half-brother will vote forDonald Trump in the US election

– Malik Obama said he was disappointed with his brother’s leadership and the Democratic party

– “I am Muslim, it’s something God would not approve. The Republican Party doesn’t stand for that.”

While both Barack and Michelle Obama have supported Hilary Clinton, President Obama’s half-brother, Malik Obama, is backing Donald Trump to become the next leaders of the US.

Speaking to Reuters journalists from Obama’s ancestral home of Kogelo in Kenya, Malik Obama expressed his view on the oncoming American election and presidential candidates.

He said: “He appeals to me and also I think that he is down to earth and he speaks from the heart and he is not trying to be politically correct. He’s just straight-forward.

Clinton is not honest because she says that she did not reveal any classified information, and she did. And I don’t see that kind of person being the president of the United States. 

Also, I do not support same-sex marriage. I am Muslim, it’s something God would not approve. The Republican Party doesn’t stand for that.”

He also spoke on his disappointment with the Obama administration and deluded expectations of Kenyan people.

“I am upset and disillusioned. When he became president there was a lot of excitement and there was a lot of hope that he would do many things for us and the country. I don’t think he has accomplished that,” he added.

Malik Obama, aged 58, previously hit headlines in 2010 when he married a teenager, who is his third wife. He ran for governor of the Kenyan county of Siaya in 2013,and was defeated by a wide margin

The father of President Obama and Malik Obama died in a car crash in 1982, leaving three wives, six sons and a daughter.
