Dear Dino, I feel you need to cage your rage – Read open letter to Melaye

Editor’s note: Nigerians have criticized Senator Dino Melaye for his threat to “beat up” his colleague, Oluremi Tinubu, during a disagreement in a closed-door session held by the senators.

Zest Majeed Obabu, one of the NAIJ.com readers, appeals to the senator in an open letter demanding apology for the people of Kogi state, who voted him into the power.

A man’s life is not characterized by how many battle lines he draws, enemies he makes or battle he wins, it is rather measured by his stance in the face of adversity.

In the political scenery today in Nigeria you have successfully carved board for yourself within the context of your competence’ no doubt.

Sir it’s absurd for leaders like you to neglect the ultimate reality that the power of the people put you in the seat and this same people did not only look at you like a leader but also a role model.

In your press briefing you clearly made your position pronounced like a gentle man of a sort, but sir your antecedence in both your public and private life does not correlate with your claims.

I respect and genuinely appreciate your ambitious traits, but I feel you need to cage your rage so that the younger ones can be confident at whatever import you have for the society.

I remember vividly you were a pronounced part of change agents that brought this current administration into power, you saw it clearly that Nigeria democracy have grown, focus you witnessed what the power of the people did to money bags.

Sir if your ambition must see the light at the end of the tunnel, you certainly need an attitude adjustment.
