Nigeria Face Mexico in Olympics warm-up
Nigeria’s U-23 held their first training session in Mexico yesterday, ahead of today’s high-octane friendly against Mexico at the Aguascalientes Stadium.
The second batch of players and coach Samson Siasia landed in Mexico on Thursday, joining the earlier batch who were already in the country after their trip from Nigeria.
A minimum of 14 players, including three goalkeepers Daniel Akpeyi (Chippa United), Emmanuel Daniel ( Enugu Rangers) and Yusuf Mohammed (Kano Pillars), are presently in Mexico.
After the friendly, the squad will return to Atlanta to continue their preparations for the Olympic Games.
