Boko Haram: Nigerian military grants bail to Bolori, others

The Nigerian military has granted administrative bail to Ahmed Bolori and Aisha Wakil, who were declared wanted by the military authority.

The bail was granted after they met some conditions, including submission of their international passport.

A top military officer, who pleaded anonymity also disclosed that the investigation is still ongoing while expecting the return of the third wanted person, Salkida who resides in Dubai United Arab Emirate (UAE).

The three Nigerians were declared wanted after the recent release of video by Boko Haram terrorists group purporting to show some of the kidnapped Chibok schoolgirls.

The Nigerian army issued a statement where it stated that some persons have been declared wanted.

The reason for calling for the heads of these people may not be unconnected to the issue of the Chibok girls who are in captivity of the insurgents.

Ahmed Sakilda was nicknamed in some quarters as the voice of Boko Haram.

Before the army issued the statement explaining why the three men have been declared wanted, the Defence Headquarters sent out a press release that it was studying the latest video from Boko Haram group, purporting to show some of the kidnapped Chibok schoolgirls.

The statement released by the army came with the title, ‘Nigerian army declares Ahmed Salkida (Ambassador), Ahmed U Bolori and Aisha Wakil wanted’
