At the New Africa Shrine yesterday evening, 55-year-old Femi Kuti broke the world record for the longest single note on a saxophone. This was previously set in 1997 by Kenny G at 45 minutes, 37 seconds. Femi broke the record at 46 minutes, 38 seconds in the presence of Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, deputy high commissioners of Netherlands and United Kingdom, amongst others. (See here) Femi's
