Police Makes Shocking Discovery In Hotel Room

A man identified as Sunday was found dead in Western Lodge Hotel on Ishawo Road in Ikorodu area of Lagos state.

According to Punch, the management of the hotel discovered his body around 1am in his room.

It was gathered that all the contacts on his mobile phone were deleted, making it difficult to reach his relatives as he had no form of identification on him.

The case was reported at the Owutu police division, while his corpse has been deposited at the Ikorodu General Hospital Mortuary.

A source who spoke to Punch Metro, said the deceased was poisoned.

One of the workers in another hotel in the area said the victim might have killed himself.

However, a man, who spoke on behalf the management of the hotel, said the victim died on the road and not in the hotel.

Patricia Amadin, the immediate past police public relations officer, on Monday, September 7, confirmed that the deceased died in the hotel. She said the case is still under investigation to ascertain the true cause of death.

Meanwhile, two ladies have been declared wanted by the police in connection with the death of an offshore oil worker who died in a hotel room in Delta state.
