Boko Haram Surprisingly Attacks Another Village
The members of deadly Boko Haram sect has launched surprise attack on a village in southern Niger.
Two security sources said that the insurgents riding on motorbikes and horseback killed at least five locals.

Reuters informed that the onslaught occurred after a night-time raid in which the group killed 38 residents in the same area near the Nigerian border less than a week ago.
One of the sources said: “Boko Haram attacked overnight on 23 June the village of Yebi, near Bosso. The terrorists came on horseback and motorbikes and killed at least five villagers,” one of the sources said.
The second source confirmed the attack, saying that the militants had later set the village ablaze.

It should be noted that Boko Haram has attacked southern Niger dozens of times this year. Its government has announced a state of emergency for the region and has arrested more than 600 people it accuses of links to the group.
The troops of Nigeria with Chad, Cameroon, Niger and Benin have agreed to set up a joint military force led by Nigeria to end the insurgency.
The leaders reached the deal at a summit hosted by Nigeria’s new president Muhammadu Buhari, who made tackling it a key campaign pledge.
