The All Progressives Congress (APC) national chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, over the last weekend blasted Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson over alleged misuse of funds accumulated from the federal government estimated at over N440 billion.

Oyegun said the Bayelsa state governor has done nothing to show for the large sum of money he has received.

At the public declaration to welcome those who defected to APC by some of the loyalists of former President Goodluck Jonathan led by Chief Dikivie Ikhiogha, the national vice-chairman, South-South, Hilliard Etaho,described the administration of Dickson as a failure.

Oyegun noted that the Dickson received over N440 billion from the federal government with nothing to show for it, adding that what was left for the people of the state was to “retire the governor”.

Chief Tiwei Orunimighe, the APC state chairman, said the journey to change the present administration in Bayelsa over non-performance has just begun, adding that APC will use the broom to change the incompetence that has taken over the state for long.

 

 

Chief Diekivie Ikhiogha, a close friend of former President Goodluck Jonathan, dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress(APC), alongside Chief Victor Awala, Mr Paul Ajuwa, Mrs. D. Irene, Mr. Prince Abeki, a former commissioner, and over 150 former councillors.

Ikhiogha said the party is full of betrayals and deceits.
