EKSU Trains Students On Modern Research Methodology
The vice-chancellor of Ekiti State University, Prof. Oladipo Aina, has called on students to take interest in research that will help tackle insecurity in Nigeria.
The University don disclosed this at a workshop organised by the Institute for Peace, Security and Governance at the Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti.

With the theme of the workshop as Research Methodology and Scholarships Grants, Aina admonished the students to take interest in modern scientific approach to tackle insurgency.
The Institute officially took off in March, 2004 with programmes like; Masters in Public Sector Governance and Administration. (PGA), Masters in Corporate Governance and Management (CGM) and Masters & Ph.D in Peace and Security Studies (PSS).
The programme director, Prof. Kunle Ajayi while welcoming the vice – chancellor and his management team to the workshop, said the workshop is to expose students to a unified research methodology in Peace and Security Research, Public Administration and Corporate Management.

The students were however challenged and will also urged to acquire knowledge on academic honesty, ethics in research and on issues of plagiarism.
The workshop was organised to expose the students to sources of scholarship and grants and how they can access it to pursue their academic career
