I Don’t Have Any Friction With Kwankwaso – Ganduje

Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano State has said that there is no love lost existing between him and his former boss, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.

There have been reports in the media that a sore relationship exists between the duo which culminated in the outburst of the former that he will open can of worms if pressed hard.

The state commissioner for Information, Comrade Muhammad Garba in a media chat attributed the ‘alleged’ frosty relationship to the handiwork of enemies of the state, adding that since his assumption, Governor Ganduje has been championing completion of all ongoing projects he inherited from Kwankwaso.

He expressed further that in demonstration of the cordial relationship between them, a powerful state delegation led by the governor was at Abuja last weekend to felicitate with Kwankwaso over the Achievers Award bestowed on him by a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) based in South Africa.

The commissioner highlighted that very soon, those peddling the rumours of the festering sore relationship in the state will be put to shame as Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has reiterating his commitment to completing all projects initiated by former governor, Kwankwaso, for the upliftment of socio-economic well being of the people of the state.

Comrade Muhammad Garba enjoined the people of Kano to extend their maximum support to better the lots of the people of the State.

Speculations were rife throughout Kano over the frosty relationship between Governor Ganduje and his former boss, now Senator, Rabiu Kwankwaso. Highlights of which were the non re-appointment of all political associates of the former.

Only last week, Governor Ganduje, while hosting parents of students’ sponsored abroad by former Governor, threatened to open up on shady deals in relation to the whole process that culminated in their sponsorship by relevant government age.
