'Taken': Movie heads to NBC as TV series
A 'Taken' TV series which will follow a younger version of Liam Neeson’s Brian Mills, is headed to NBC.
After three movies in the 'Taken' action franchise, NBC has ordered a TV show version of film.
According to Deadline, the upcoming show will be executive produced by Luc Besson, who co-wrote the films.
The upcoming series will focus on Brian Mills before he embarks on a quest to save his kidnapped daughter.
To be set in modern day, the series will also tell the story of how Mills came to have his very famous 'particular set of skills,' which fans can't get enough of.

Directed by Pierre Morel, the first 'Taken' was released in 2009, and opened to an impressive $226 million worldwide.
Its sequels 'Taken 2' and 'Taken 3' opened to $376 million and $325 million worldwide.
