What Oliseh Said After Emphatic Win Over Niger
Super Eagles head coach Sunday Oliseh has commended his boys for a hard fought victory over the Menas of Niger, describing the performance of his team as ‘perfect’.

After a goaless first half, the home based Eagles returned from the dressing room firing from all cylinders with substitute Elvis Chisom Chikatara getting a hat trick and helped Nigeria to a 4 – 1 routing of their neighbours.
Speaking at the post match conference, Oliseh expressed gladness that the team improved and raised their game in the second half, but warned that there is still a lot to do.
“The performance tonight was perfect and I am really impressed with my players.
“We won’t get carried away with the win.
“We are already looking forward to the our next game and we will approach each game one at a time,” he said.

Chikatara opened the scoring just seconds into the second half before Okoro extended the lead in the 74th minute. Niger substitute, Victorien Adebayor pulled one back for his side, but Chikatara got two more goals to shoot Nigeria top of Group C, after Tunisia and Guinea played a 2 – 2 draw in the first game of the group.
