Oyegun: ‘There are traitors in INEC,’ APC chairman says
Oyegun said some persons who were appointed into public office by the previous Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) government are sabotaging Buhari’s government.
The chairman of the All Progressives Congress ( APC), Chief John Oyegun has revealed that there are saboteurs in various government agencies trying to hinder President Buhari’s change agenda.
He said some persons who were appointed into public office by the previous Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) government are sabotaging Buhari’s government.
Oyegun said “It is happening in INEC, it is happening in a lot of other institutions and that is what the concern of the party is, not necessarily taking over.
“We should take over and there should be people who believe in the change agenda, we have no apologies for that at all.”
You will recall that President Buhari, on February 15, 2016, sacked heads of 26 government agencies, with six under the Federal Ministry of Information and Culture announced first.
There are reports that the All Progressives Congress (APC) was behind the mass lay off.
The APC was unhappy with Buhari for failing to sack officials who had been appointed by his predecessor, Goodluck Jonathan.
