In related development, the parents of Ese debunked reports that their 14-year-old daughter had written a secret love letter to her alleged abductor, Yunusa Dahiru.
The letter published on Saturday, March 19, showed that the pair might have been in an intimate relationship before the whole incident. Denying the claims, Rose Oruru, the girl’s mother, noted that her daughter was forced to do things against her will in Kano state and insisted that Ese could not have written such kind of letter.
