Photos: Fire Outbreak at Ondo State Government House

The executives chamber of the Ondo State Governor's office was gutted by fire today.

The outbreak which is said to have been caused by Power surge has destroyed some goverment properties.

According to Daily Post, National Chairman of PDP, Ali Modu Sheriff was in the Governors office when the fire started.


The journalists and some PDP chieftains discovered the fire while they were waiting for Ali Modu and Dr Olusegun Mimiko for briefing.

All efforts by the journalists and PDP leaders to put out the fire proved abortive.

However, Fire Service arrived the scene 20 minutes after the fire started and succeeded in putting it out.

Daily Post also reports that Mimiko and his guest left the goverment house immediately, while workers rushed out of the offices.
