A bizarre livestream video has emerged on Facebook showing an enraged mother beating her 16-year-old daughter and recording it in Savannah, Georgia state, US.

Mother is filmed beating her teen daughter for early sexual relationship

Shanavia Miller became enraged after believing her young daughter named Nia Green had sex with her boyfriend in their family house.

Mrs Miller reportedly saw a photo of the girl dressed in a towel with her boyfriend nearby, whereupon she started shouting at her and hitting her.

To make her punishment even more wors a mother livestreamed her beating on daughter’s Facebook page, asking her friends to share it.

She is heard saying: “Get your grades up before thinking about opening your legs! This my Facebook page now! You think that sh*t cute? Now. I’m gonna try and send this viral. Please share this, cause I’m not done.”

People’s reaction to the incident

Expectedly, the video has drawn different reactions from across the world, some people said that such child abuse has no justification, while others insisted that parents had the right to discipline children in this way.

Later a post purportedly from Nia has appeared on the Facebook page justifying her mother’s anger and behaviour. Local police say the daughter told them she feels safe at home, but they had passed on the case to the state’s child welfare department.
